An oversize shirt- yes! I've just recently started to travel with one and, as you say, it's really useful. I'm expecting travel fatigue to set in, and so we're working towards taking some time off halfway through. It'll be a good chance to catch up on writing and plan logistics - and chill, too :)

I carry everything in a small carry on backpack. An oversized shirt goes a long way…. Multiple uses- day, night, dressy, beach…
And a sarong! (As you suggest.)One pair sandals and good comfy sneakers.
Is the constant moving every couple days mentally/ physically sustainable over 4 months?
