Wonderful 5th note from Narina (thank you NE Where) and still amazing feat for Mark (not feet, feat). And I’m waiting for the day (tomorrow or next) when Mark will be joined by Sancho Pansa, and they will be chasing some ghosts together. All the best to the both of you!
Thanks for the comment Alain. I finally finished yesterday evening - footsore and weary, but very happy. Sancho didn't show up but I did spare him a thought from time to time...and sometimes felt like I was tilting at windmills myself!
Keep going Mark ! Just imagine that perfect 6 foot glassy wall of refreshing water energy at Medewi ! And of course the beautiful Narina waiting for you with a fresh cold coconut 🥥! Go go go !
JP! Mark was hoping to catch a glimpse of the sea yesterday, but nothing. Today is the day – and I've no doubt he'll have a hankering to get back on his board when he does. Looking forward to catching up when we're back on the island.
Hey mate! It seemed like a long long time between glimpses of the sea. Finally made it to Spain's northern point yesterday. Not much glassiness and no coconuts but did have a couple of celebratory rum and cokes to remind me of the tropics! It's been quite a trip and looking forward to seeing Narina very soon.
Wow, Mark: fantastic and uplifting! Congratulations-squared, from start to finish. Enjoy the rest and recovery (with a little Rioja, or a Priorat). You’ll get a kind of “post partum” blues at some point, I imagine, and then start filling your minds, Narina and yours, with the next challenge. I look forward to it, and I hope that it can be something in which I can participate! All the best!

Thank you so much Alain – I've sent your message on to Mark, and your support is truly appreciated. 34km left to go, as I type :)
