Gorgeous pictures and words. Added to my growing list of places I would love to visit someday. Thanks for sharing the wonderful sites your life and travels take you to, my friend.
Thank you @Jacqueline – I kinda felt there was a photo everywhere I turned in Lesotho! It's such a special destination... definitely one for that list!!
Lesotho is such a beautiful place. However I do not miss driving the Sani Pass again, even though I can drive my Defender a lot better than I did back then when we did Sani Pass ;)
I remember seeing a woman at the top of Sani Pass, who was almost in tears because she was NOT looking forward to having to go down again. Amazing to see how the loaded taxis seem to make their way up so ‘easily’!!
Yes, those local sedans that go up and down without a care in the world.. ;) I remember driving down on low-gear (this was back in early 2020), diff-lock on and on some of the harpin turns I had to reverse/go forward (and repeat) to get our Defender 110 to turn the corner 🤣 Hardly ever been so concentrated on driving like back there. ;)

Ah, Holly – absolutely epic road-tripping country, with wonderful, wonderful people. It's a humbling (and uplifting) place to explore.
We've always been curious about Lesotho. Now we need to go!
Oh my goodness - yes! Go! The people! The landscape! The bread! (Really, really good bread...)
Thank you for sharing this. Your photographs and words transported me!
Really beautiful photos, love the alo pattern! I want to go to Lesotho now, another one for the list hehe <3

Beautifully written (as always). One of the most inspiring countries I've ever been to. Let's go back soon!
