Have you ever sat down with a beautiful new notebook and your favourite pen – and then opened the cover, stared at the blank page and thought ‘now what’? If you’re familiar with the trepidation that wells before you make your first mark on that exquisite blank sheet, well, welcome to my world right now.
Coming up this Thursday…
My mind and notebook are bursting with ideas for how to fill the blank space that is now NE Where, and I’ll be kicking it all off this Thursday (26 May) with an update on a very special vagabond.
If you arrived here from my Facebook or Instagram pages, you’ll already know that my love, Mark Eveleigh, set off last week on a solo 1200km trek across Spain. He’s walking from its southernmost to northernmost tip, gathering material for a book that will capture the journey. He’s staying off social media while he walks and so if you’d like to follow along via updates from me, please do hit the subscribe button. Each Thursday until Mark reaches Punta Estaca de Bares around early July, I’ll be sharing some of his photos and snippets of his life on the road. How much gear is he carrying? How far does he walk in a day? Where does he bathe? Does he bathe? How many coffees does he drink in a day? If there’s anything in particular you’d like to know please drop me a note in the comments box, and I’ll be sure to cover it in the update.
The route from here
This little corner of the web will be filling up (slowly, with content added once or twice a week) with all things travel related. Beautiful places to go; intriguing stories worth telling; interviews with quirky characters; insights from locals; stories behind the stories; stories behind the photographs.
I’ve no doubt it’ll evolve, as any journey does, and I’d love to have you along for the ride – so if you’d like to join me, please subscribe to updates here.
